About
The Full Story
My name is Dominique Griffin, and I am passionate about all things healthy. I love the life I created with my husband, Christian, and we have three beautiful daughters, ages 17, 15, and 13.
As a mother, life coach, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and food enthusiast, a healthy mind and body are priorities in my life and in my family.
Food is a key element of our lives. It’s enjoyed at celebrations and is a source of comfort but can also be a source of stress or worry. But whether in good times or tough times, food is also necessary.
My passion to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner came from my own daughter’s battle with cancer. She was just 7 months old. It was during her brave fight, that I found a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), who mentored me on how food could help nourish her little body. At the time, I didn’t know the real power of food. Now that I do, I want to teach others. It was after that, I knew I was destined to become an NTP.
Nutritional Therapy is designed to help regulate, repair, and restore the body. The purpose of a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is to draw out a person’s natural tendency to flourish. Nutritional Therapy Practitioners educate, support, and encourage people to grow what’s already true in themselves. I am here to help people achieve their optimal wellness, by educating them about the true value of food, as a source of nourishment for the body, mind, and soul.
I help people reconnect to their food. First, I identify the imbalances in an individual’s body. Then, I create a specific plan with recommendations to ensure maximum nutrient absorption. The diets are bio-individual: unique to each person. Once these changes are in place, I help support and focus on the body's system, including digestion, inflammation, hormone balancing, blood sugar regulation, and detoxification. I help them stick to their short-term goals, which set the foundation for their long-term goals, and bigger-picture goals. I guide them in implementing lifestyle changes, like exercise, sleep, and stress management. I help them tackle the barriers to achieving a healthy lifestyle and encourage them to stay on track along the way.
My ultimate purpose as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is to educate, strengthen and empower you to live a life that doesn’t just mean existing but living the best life possible, and each day to the absolute fullest.
